This school promotes education, safety and a sense of community like no other I've seen. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted by warm smiling teachers and staff that make you feel welcome. The faculty cares for and seems to know each student, whether they have that child in their classroom or not. It's refreshing to see such a diverse student body mesh together. The principal commands respect and interacts with the students, on their level daily. He visits each classroom and partakes in whatever activity is going on, be it a spelling test or a class play. He also chooses a couple of children from each class occasionally and buys them lunch, and they eat in his office with him. They have a daily morning program that promotes school and patriotic spirit, where parents are encouraged to attend. Truly a above and beyond school.
