my son has been going to this school since kindergarted and he is in the 4th grade. He is doing well so far, they have an after school program called the Sage literacy program and they also have other after school programs to keep them occupied and learning. There is a zero tolerance on bullying. The teachers and staff are kind and are there for the kids.

My son has been a student at the Ark for a few years. Originally, I chose to send him to this school because it was safer than sending him to our zone school, which is School 2. Now, although he is comfortable here, I am not so sure this is the school for him. The work he brings home is very easy and I'm afraid he isn't being challenged. Not to take anything away from faculty and staff, they are all very nice and seem to care about the welfare of our children, but isn't challenging them and preparing them for the real world part of loving them and preparing them for future success?

My child did not start school at the ARK until after school had begun. However, the teachers there made his transition very smooth. They were very attentive and went out of their way to make him feel welcome. Which as a parent I truly appreciated. I saw an immediate difference in his attitude regarding wanting to go to school. He loves the ARK, he enjoys going to school and is excited in the evening to tell me about his day. His teachers (Kindergarten) have captured his interest and he has begun to 'like' to learn. If the rest of his years at the ARK are as positive as this first year has been then I am sure he will have a very successful elementary school experience.
