The teachers are wonderful, the school itself is extraordinary, my child grew and flourished in Kindergarten this year. I wish she could go to Sheldon all the way up until 9th grade!
I have really enjoyed Mrs. Wittmen our daughter's kindergarden teacher. I would however beg to differ about the teacher/student ratio. Our daughter's class is at 24 I believe, the school district re-evaluates the need for 2 'K' classes each year. When my daughter started at Sheldon, last year, her class was at 26 and WOULD NOT BE SPLIT unless atleast 28 students enrolled. 28 five year olds for one teacher. I have also had some trouble with the bus. I feel as though the principal did not handle some situations well with my daughter and have tried very hard to take her and pick her up from school since.
