My son is a 4th grade student who is doing well at this school. It is the luck of the draw with certain teachers. My son also had the "burned out 1st grade teacher" it was a miserable year. The next year he had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Steinbrecher. My son is a great student and is becoming prepared for middle school as a result of his experiences at this school. He also has an organized teacher this year, and he is doing well. In any school it really depends on the teacher, this is a safe school with little cultural diversity, parents are mostly involved.

Principal does not take action. He talks about making changes but has little follow through. There is one teacher who is in the prinpals words is 'burned out' He however feels placing her back in first grade is a good idea. Overall the school is well run. Most of the teachers care and the parents seem to care.

Principal comes off as a friendly man, but doesn't take action when parents have an issue or concern. Says safety is a priority, but culture and procedures of the school do not substantiate this claim.
