Considering the lack of financial support Wantagh gives its schools, the educators rise above it and are tops. Admin and teachers give their all to our kids. If you want a country club you have to pay for it.

Typical Nassau county School. All teachers teach to the test. No 'critical thinking skills' taught whatsoever. PTA very clicky, Principle seems to be very unable to lead. Teachers may be overburdened with large class sizes. Forest Lake feels like just another cattle ranch.

Below average school at best. Principal provides no leadership, no clubs for kids, only activities and programs provided are thru PTA. State test scores are the lowest out of the 3 elementary schools in the district.

Lovely school, close knit 'family' atmosphere. Strong parent involvement. Very good programs offered, including 'gifted' students program. Lacking formal auditorium. Wonderful atmosphere for learning and comraderie.
