Warrensburg teachers, for the most part, seem to have a passion for teaching and test scores prove that. I feel like the principal of the elementary school is disconnected to the students and parents. Other districts I know of the principal greets the parents and children daily and know pupils names.
The academic prgrams at Warrensburg have been quite successful. As a future teacher and as someone who has been involved in their school through subbing, I know that they are doing all that they can and beyond to have students excell. The availability of their specials, and after school activities, etc. have a great reputation. The music teacher is band new and is amazing, the phys ed and art teachers are experienced and doing a wonderful job. Extracurricular activites seem to be offered on a regular basis for both students and faculty. Parents seem to have a high involvement at Warrensburg Central school. Children enjoy having their parents there and teachers enjoy the support within the classrooms.
