It is not so much of a 'brag' as it is a fact that this school needs improvement. It's out there to create a place to help the youth that are in real need of services as well as providing an education for them. This school can do great things for many students and staff. I hope they do!

Halpern Education Center has been wonderful to my son as a student and myself as an involved parent. He started here in July of 2006 and since then he has done an amazing improvement. He still has a long way to go but with the help of staff at Halpern, I know he will succeed and get the education he deserves. These people deserve more recognition than they get. His teacher is the most amazing woman I have ever met, when the going gets tough, she stays strong and on top of any situation!
