Wow! Go St John in being the best HS ever!! As an alumi'1992-yes the 25th anniversay class, SJB was and still is the best educational expericence a student can have. A field of dreams and where dreams do come true. Thank you SJB for your great teaching and support!!

My child is getting ready to graduate, and the last 4 years have been WONDERFUL. This school community is molding kids into not only highly intelligent young adults, but responsible, POLITE and courteous, also! Students will go on to stand out as adults and great contributors to society! Thank you!

One of the best schools on LI! Great academics, arts & athletics. Far better than any public HS! Zero tolerance for troublemakers (bullies & druggies). Students & paculty have pride in their school and themselves.

Excellent school full of dedicated and caring teachers. Outstanding athletics program! My daughter loves going to SJB and has made a lot of friends. She is proud of SJB. My son will be attending next year. Worth every penny.

I'm a parent now and I also went to St. Johns and loved it. You know I read some negative comment about the school and faculty. When I went there was discipline but that was good and yes the teachers cared and I'm sure they still do. We can't make every student happy its up to the individual. We all make our own destiny. I believe when I was there we started the day off with prayer that was the best thing to do. Your day was first God then school work and also great friends. We use to have study groups and help each other out in class and out of class. We all worked together as one unit. We had great team spirit and I believe love for one another even though we did'nt outwardly say it. What did I learn at St. john the baptist; Love, respect, kindness, loyalty, friendship, knowledge, wisdom, discipline,Jesus.

I went to SJB 25 years ago and now I'm sending my daughter. She absolutely loves it! I believe kid's need discipline, safety, structure, Religion in their life, and teachers who really care. This school has all of those things and more! It is like a big family.

This school is amazing!!! The four years I spent in high school were filled with great experiences and thanks to SJB I was definitely prepared for college! It is 100% worth the money. I had to get a job sophomore year to help pay for my tuition and I do not regret that at all! I would do it all over again! Saint John's is great.

there are a lot of conflicting reviews here so i'll give it to you straight, if you want a good education from sjb you can get it. we have some great really teachers willing to help you if you're having trouble and so many elective and AP classes i wish we had a longer day so i could take them all (we have 9 periods) But if you dont want to try and you complain about the rules then you won't like the school. its a no BS place, they won't put up with junk if you dont want to be there; it gets in the way of the kids that do. i'll say it again, if you want a good education twhere people really care about how you are doing, both academicly and as a person, hen SJB is the way to go. i personaly love it there.

I have gone to this school for 1/2 a year now. Already I can tell that though it is a challenging school it will prepare you for college. The Teachers respect you as a person as long as you respect them as well. I'd reccomend this school to anyone who lives on Long Island.

The school will prepare your child for college unlike what you see in public schools, no cell phones,no luches at the deli , sorry cant drive home for lunch. Alot of disciplin but in a soft way , with 2 parents in a household working a real structured school with lots of love, my kids dont come home till 6pm they stay in school huge difference so much to do and teams too join , clubs aaaa plus
