I can't think of one negative thing to say about Ballard. My children are getting a great education and having a wonderful elementary experience. The teachers are amazing and the atmosphere there is warm and friendly. We are so pleased that we chose to move into the SGF/Ballard school district.
I am very happy with Ballard. My 7 year old goes to this school and they really encourage respect, friendship, and helping others. I think their friendship assembly is a great ised to bring all the grade levels together in one room to offer positive news, and appreciation of students who have stood out for the month! I wish she could stay there right through 12th!
I rate this school on a 5 *** because every teacher there took thier time with my child who happens to be very shy, I am dissapointed to see only 4****'s
What a great school. The teachers really care about the students, many of them have children of their own in the school! The parent involvement is wonderful, the HSA is always offering after school programs hosting fun nights for families.
Ballard is a wonderful school with a core group of parents who work hard to make the elementary experience wonderful for all children. There are many enrichment programs offered after school, as well as many family activities in the evening.
As a former student of Ballard Elementary, I have to say that I believe I became who I am today because of the start I got at Ballard. There are many teachers still there today that taught while I was there some 20+ years ago. The hallowed halls of Ballard Elementary will always be vivid in my memory. Thanks to Mrs. Carter for my math skills, Mrs. Ford for my reading, and Mrs. Norris for my caring and understanding. These are just a few of the outstanding teachers I encountered at Ballard.
