Please safe this school! This school helped my learning disabled kids get A & B grades. It also has a Speech program, and a SETTHS teacher set up that is provided by the board of ed. Less than 15 kids a class. Its fabulous here! Please the school needs a hand out. Please save my kids school. Please!

Update to review of 11/29/2011:The Principal is to continue meeting with Diodesan officials to develop a strategic plan for the school and discuss a possible convert to a Catholic academy. He is searching for individuals who would like to become investors in the possible new academy. The Diocese is commited to converting all of its schools into academies over the next few years and traditional parishes will be eliminated. For your information and consideration.

For what it's worth, I don't think the feedback left by the person on 4/3/11 is from a real parent with a real kid in the school. I happen to be a real parent with 2 kids in the school. One has been attending for 3 years and the other 6. Both of them are academically advanced compared to their public school counterparts. Very sad what people do under the cloak of anonymity. This has happened before. Plants spreading vicious rumors about schools. I don't know what kind of person does that. Seriously. A wicked one for sure. Seriously, if it is a real parent of a real kid attending the school, then they should feel ashamed of themselves for keeping their kid(s) in a school with a "terrible" academic program. No one is making you send your kid there. To be honest, there is a lot of fundraising, but a lot of that has to do with debt incurred in previous years due, to a large degree, to parents who did not pay their tuition. My only real complaint about this school is there is no outdoor play area.

omg all this school ever does is ask for and raise money. So many people I know are looking for another school because this one will probably close soon. They hardly have any kids left and the academic program is terrible. My two kids hardly learn anything. The teachers are nice but not the smartest and so much time is spent on things other than teaching. The principal and pastor talk about money constantly and even made all kids sell two boxes of candy recently with no notice. Now they are having a candle sale. Every week they sell something else and still don't have enough money. for September I am moving my kids to another catholic school just a little distance away.

My daughter is in preschool here and while the staff and teachers are very loving, and concerned with values and compassion, I find the preschool curriculum to be somewhat dull. Too much coloring and tracing, not enough arts and crafts and outdoor play.

The school is small but, everyone is like a family. Everyone cares for everyone else. The teachers really care about the students. Some teachers have been there over 10 years. The principal does a great job.

I was a student in this school many years ago and when i became a parent I decided to send my daughter to the same school. The teachers in this school are very caring people and I am glad that my child received her early education here. I enrolled her in pre-k and she graduated from 8th grade in 2004. The principal is a wonderful person. I met her when she was a teacher. She taught my daughter in 2 different grades and became the principal 1 year after my daughter graduated. I strongly recommend this school.

Corpus Christi school in Woodside is still a very small family oriented school. It has a mix in ethnicity. I have 3 daughters that go there at this time. They had a change in principal a few years ago, for the better. Things have change so much with Ms. Parisi now being principal. The children are academically challenged and well rounded. My children have been going there for 5 years now. Corpus just started an art and music program. But they lack in extracurricular activities. They just started to have a parent association but it needs some work. The overall experience that my family is having is great. Everyone knows everyone by name and the children feel that they belong not matter what.

Corpus Christi is a small Catholic grammar school located in Woodside, NY. There are just over 200 students with a seemingly high population of Hispanic and Indian students. The best quality of the school is that it is small, but I do not think the students are pushed acedemically as hard as they could be.
