Transferring our children from public school to R.C. Parker has been the absolute best decision we have made for our children's education. Our children are finally excited to go to school! We've observed them grow from bored students to excited critical thinkers with their innate love for learning being fostered. The curriculum is a hands-on, creative approach engaging all of the child's senses. The children are viewed as significant beings with their own personalities and points of view, never forced into a particular mold. I highly recommend this school.

From the moment my husband and I drove onto Parker's campus, we realized we'd found a very special place. Wherever we went, we saw smiling faces and children truly enjoying learning. Outside, the students enjoy acre after acre of wooded trails and learning in a spectacular natural environment. Our oldest daughter is in her fifth year at Parker (in 2nd grade), having started in PreK3. Our younger daughter is in PreK3. Both girls love school so much, they're sad when there is a snow day. We are constantly amazed by the quality of Parker's teachers, and by the extra lengths to which the teachers go for individual students.

When searching for a preschool in 2006, we visited Parker and were so impressed by the caliber of student work and the happy and confident students. I now have two children at Parker who are excelling in their studies while learning how to treat each other with respect and care for their community. They are excited about learning new things and are anxious to fully explore new topics. They are bummed out when school is closed for a holiday or a snow day. I could never have imagined a school with such a dedicated, vibrant faculty who all know and respect each child and truly relish in their accomplishments.

My son had an amazingly positive experience at Parker. The teachers are extremely caring, at all grade levels, and are personally dedicated to each and every child. There is freedom for the children to be individuals, a lot of thought is given to the program, there is a wonderful, caring, ethos that pervades the place. I highly recommend the school.

I have a child at Parker that I brought in for the wonderful pre-school program and ended up staying for Kidergarten because it was such a great place to learn. The teachers are creative, hands on and take time to teach each child. When we looked at Parker my husband and I commented that we wished we could have gone to a school like Parker and it has been a great experience ever since

We have 3 children at Parker. While the aforementioned instability with respect to faculty was difficult, we feel that Parker has consistently found quality individuals for the faculty and is stabilizing well. Our oldest child has been at Parker for 5 years and is extremely happy (as are our younger children). There is a tremendous amount of parent involvement at Parker and we have never witnessed or heard of any teacher that would yell at any student for any reason. Parker is a loving and nurturing environment that is helping my children grow into confident, excited learners.

Parker has been great for my daughter. What makes Parker special is they give kids a love of learning. The teachers are great and extremely caring and patient. Even through the difficult phases my daughter has been through, her teacher has been behind her all the way, always very caring. We've been at the school for 3 years.

This is really a wonderful school. Because there are two recesses a day and a great playground and many acres of fields and a creek, my son, who loves nature, has thrived. For an active boy, he can have lots of time to explore and move. The teachers recognize that he couldn't learn if he was seated all day long. The curriculum is really active and interesting for the kids. His teachers care so much for him, and so do the other children. There is a buddy program that pairs every younger class with an older one, and my son loves knowing all the kids in the school. When I heard the graduation speeches that the eighth graders give, I was so moved. I want my son to grow up to be just like that - confident, caring and an independent thinker - all the things that Parker does for kids.

Parker is a great school. My children's experiences were caring and academically challenging. The school integrates the arts into all areas of the curriculum. Children develop their full potential and a love of learning. We found the teachers to be fabulous - involved and caring and willing to give 100%. The children from Parker are so grounded and emotionally centered and secure that they are ready for any challenge that awaits them.

Robert C. Parker School has provided just the right environment for our daughter to thrive as a student and a complete person. Intelligence is valued at the school, as is a sense of personal discovery and cooperation with peers. Students are challenged at all levels and appear to be very much engaged in the process. The school encourages critical / creative thinking, just what is needed in contemporary education. We have been very pleased with our experience at Parker will greatly miss our involvement with the school upon our daughter's graduation. These are some wonderful, caring people !
