Teacher effectiveness: Strongly agree

So far my son Jayson is having a wonderful experience with Mrs. Gallego. She engages him and helps him think outside the box. He strives hard to do good and wants Mrs. Gallego to be proud of him.

We recently moved to Yonkers and at first I had my reservations. Coming from NYC where public schools have better rankings I was a nervous wreck. Going to the open house and hearing first hand from Principal Amertrano what the school stands for and it's mission was just what I needed to know that my son Jayson was in good hands. He is a wonderful Principal and the kids love him. During the school book fair the kids were stopping Mr. Amertrano to get his attention and show him what books they bought. Mr. Amertrano listened them and was engaged with each one of the students. Mr. Amertrano is passionate about leading Enrico Fermi into success for the good of all students. The Enrico Fermi team will bring the school to where it needs to be. Helping students of all ethnic groups reach their goals. Mrs. Gallego my son's 5th grade teacher is extremely knowledgeable. I love her concept of Gallego dollars. The students earn Gallego cash through participation, homework, good behavior and extra credit. The first of the month $50 Gallego dollars of rent is due to remain in the classroom. My son Jayson loves the challenge especially when he makes extra Gallego cash and he can pay his rent and has lots of Gallego cash to spare and spend on a toy. She pushes the kids to be the best they can be. I'm glad my son is part of the Enrico Fermi Community.

this school has soon many things to entertain your child suck as sports, acting, dancing, art, and is highly rated academically.... your kid will now be able to participate in any of the classes above without an above average grade... i recommend this school to all parents and children... its truly an amazing school. My daughter never stays quite about how much fun she has in school every day, And there is NO BULLYING in this school, which one of the highest reasons i recomending
