In my opinion, anyone spending money here is clearly throwing tuition money away. Yonkers Public schools are clearly superior .My son switched to Robert C Dodson public school and the work level was higher with a more intelligent and dedicated staff. This school was a big let down and in my family's opinion and should clearly avoided.
I really like the pre k 3 and so does my daughter. The teacher is great and so are the aids.
The children love going to St. Anthony School. I've had a different experience in the Pre-K 3 program. The children learn so much and the teacher puts her whole heart into the class! The aides do too. I've heard other parents say that the teacher and the aides love the children like their own, and I do agree with them!
Worst prek 3 program. The teacher doesnt know how to handle children. The principal doesnt care about what parents have to say. I would not recommend this school.
My daughter loves this school. The principle is nice and wants the children to receive the best education that this school can give. The teachers are great . All parents are involved in decesions makings. The priest is always present and their for you if needed. My child is doing great at St. Anthony's school. She has excelled in academics, What matters is if my child is happy and is receiving a outstanding education , then I as a parent am pleased.
My son has been in this school since the 5th grade. I truly am very happy with the school. He has done extremely well. The school excels in academics. The school is also like a family and we work together to make sure the children have a safe and nurturing enviroment.
Great school - wonderful caring teachers, excellent Principal. My children all love this school.
I love this school and so do my kids... i dont agree with the other parent that didnt like the 1/2 days and days off..Our children need the days off and a lot of our days off were taken away this year ...And our tuition barely pays the bills...Our teachers are dedicated and great...they do there job for so much less then the public schools and are special people..
I started at St. Anthony's School over forty years ago and now my son attends the school. I like the faculty and feel my son is getting a strong foundation there both academically and spritually.
I love that our children are caring, involved in our community and love God because of the support they receive in school and the example set by the faculty, parents and students they see each day. Our school creates a family atmosphere in which all feel comfortable and loved.
Both my son & daughter attend St. Anthony. They both like this school very much. There is a Spanish class, Math 9 class and computers. After school there is sports activities (basketball, volleyball, bowling) as well as chess, band, ceramics and an art program. This school covers all bases. It has a student council (which meets once a week) and student involvement is strong. All in all I am very pleased with the experiences my children have had. No bad comments here.
My husband and I are very happy with this school. the teachers are caring and helpful. My son loves his teachers and comes home everyday happy. He is always anxious to get back to school on Mondays; a bit unusual but I guess it's a good sign. The principal is also caring. Parents are always very involved in the many activities they have throughout the year. The only complaint I have it's the unnecessary amount of time off they seem to take, which creates such a problem for us. Overall we are both happy with the school.
Excellent School. Principal shows great leadership qualities Teachers are magnificent. The work load is a bit much - but I'd rather my daughter read than play video games. Class sizes are a bit high, but the teachers handle them very well. This school is great - like a big Family. Wonderful school many activities and good testing scores.
My two children attend St. Anthony and both of their class sizes are about 27 students in each grade. I also find that there seems to be a high turn around rate. They also have a lot of 1/2 days which seems like nonsense to me when many parents have full time jobs and have to make other arrangements on those days. For the tuition we pay I feel the school should hire teachers who are more experienced in the grade they teach. They do have a lot of activities, both after school and during.
