This school is a really good school. It educates you and increases your knowledge. I like that school because I have been to many other schools before, and I realized that they have the best behavior. The teachers there have a great amount of knowledge and they teach in many good ways.

i am a 7th grader and ive been in this school my whole life.it was first in a different building(it was in the westchester muslim center).if these teachers and the board didnt care i doubt we would be in the building we are now. it is a beutiful place and i have to say it is not like a public school. the school is a great school. although i can see that many kids in this school do not appreciate it, inshaallah when they grow up they will. are teachers are kind. they help us study whenever they can. ofcourse its an expensive school but give it some time and inshaallah it will be one of the best schools

I rate this school a one star. this is because the way they teach the students; with no educational background. some teachers have masters degree but you always have to know the structural way to handle your class. i personally think that they do not do a good job in that. therefore this school is like this. if we have a better staff that understood the parents and students it would be a great school. sadly no one listens. listening to things like this should be taken into consideration, not ignored. the board members do not listen to what the parents may think. it all shows in the end. Communication is a key factor for every school. that is the key that makes a school better in every way. the rules are strict and most of them do not even make sense or they are not needed at all.

Andalusia School is a work in progress and that is good. As others have noted, the physical progress made over the course of 3 years is immense; our children have gone from a small environment to a full fledged school building. The Muslim community, the school bd, the parents, students and all staff have invested alot of time, care and money to make this dream of having an alternative to public education, namely, an Islamic school become a reality. While many of the staff are either certified or working on certification there are some who need to further their education...this will come Insha'Allah. For the most part, the students are receiving an education based on NYS standards and where it falls short, the principal and board are working hard to improve. In the meantime, our children are receiving core subjects, Islamic studies, Quran, Arabic and are praying each day. Alhumdulilah.

My two children are in fourth and 7th grade. The truth is that the school is not better than any public school except for the fact that it is an islamic environment. There is no day that one of their teachers is not absent. My kids did much better in public school. I regret sending my children to the school. The result of the state exam is very close to that of yonkers public school.
