Pioneer was an amazing high school with numerous amazing teachers. The abundance of college level classes truly perpared me for higher learning. Although some are quite frequent to say things such as 'Durrr I went to Pioneer' it is truly an excellent establishment if you desire to learn.

The school is ok, it has good classes and envirnment, but i feel the budget isnt evenly distrubuted. The authority tends to be condensending toward students, and the rules are a bit harsh. Plus The parents have little or no say in what goes on.

I graduated from this school a few years ago and think it has some of the best programs offered compared to many schools around the country. The extensive music programs, the sports and other extracurricular activities available are a huge plus to anyone willing to take advantage. The teachers took a personal involvement in the students acedemic goals. Also, many classes are offered that are lacking in most schools, such as Pre-vet, foreign languages, distance learning, AP college credit courses and many more. Parents should encourage their children to take advantage of every opportunity to make the most full-filling school experience for their child.

This school was minimally helpful to my daughter who was having difficulties and eventually quit school and received a GED. the teachers where difficult and unconcerned. The accademic programs are there, but the teachers need assistance. Extra activities are very good and well received by the kids, parents need to be more involved to force the teachers into doing thier jobs and caring about individual children, not just a few kids, all of them.
