Carrying staff and good p.r., but the reality behind the school's operations is that it is a tough, serious school. Some students thrive here; but a kid who is not with the program will shortly crash and burn. Although the surface atmosphere is congenial and understanding, students are held to a very strict standard of performance and behavior. Do not conform and you are out.

Great school with individual attention at its most. This is the place that will give your child the chance to succeed/ reach his/her potential. The non competitive environnment builds confidence and promotes the uniqueness in each student. On top of this, academic excellence is not compromised. We are very happy.

This school saved my teenager's life. Small, individualized attention and lots of caring. Challenging academics. My teen now has the self confidence to succeed!

I definitely recommend this great school. A serious school with rigorous application to academics, behavior accountability, respect for community, family participation, and a friendly staff. Your child will be valued, with his/her best interest always in mind. Soundview further out distances itself from other Westchester schools in the individual approach to its students achieving positive goals.

major warning! it is very risky. some kids do great but others who dont get with the so called program will not succeed as a student and will be left alone wether intentionally or not. its a big business with alot of money hence the good ratings.

Excellent school willing to work with students. Great individualized attention by caring teachers and staff. In addition to academic excellence, the staff takes great pride in teaching leadership and citizenship.
