i am new to this area.. but i can tell u that my child is having a difficult time ajusting to all the rules . for me the uniforms were and r an on-going problem. i cant afford them.. i mean they cant wear coats w/hoods to school or in the classroom. it has to be a certain type of and color,n style.Which in turn makes it difficult for theparents with limited income. I wish they would lighten the dress codes a little bit. or at least provide clothing, coats, sweaters, etc. to the parents like myself with limited income and just plain out cant afford these items.
Albemarle Middle School Is one of the best schools and it has verey good sports teams and good teachers.
AMS is a great school with a wonderful faculty. The administration is very easy to work with and to communicate with. 99% of the teachers really care about the students and love teaching. Mr. Thorpe is very supportive of all aspects of the school.
