I have two children who attend Endy, and they love it. The teachers are wonderful, this is by far the greatest school for my children. I have no doubt they will go far in life due to what they have been taught from their teachers. This school really cares about your children.
Endy has served the needs of my children beyond my expectations. It is truly a community based school with a caring principal and staff. I know my children will continue to succeed.
I have had 1 child that attended Endy and still have another one enrolled there. As for the IEP, my son has AD/HD, when I ask for a meeting I get an immediate response. They have been wonderful working with us to help him to do his best. As for sports, my daughter played basketball for the school, and was told if they didn't keep their grades up they couldn't play. What I have seen is a caring school. I know some of the teachers well, due to my daughter having them before, they care for each and every student that walks in the door.
This is the first year that my son has gone to this school and so far I do not care for it. I think the teachers there are very mean and cold hearted. I feel that this school puts too much into sports and not enough into helping students learn. It is also the only elementary school in this area that does not have after school tutoring for those that may need it. That sounds to me like no one there really cares about the children learning and if they have a learning problem then that is there tuff luck. That is so sad.My son has adhd and has been in the IEP for 2 years at his other school, but is not receiving it at Endy yet and it is 3 weeks into school. I have called the school and have gotten nowhere. This is very sad.
I have two children at Endy and I am very pleased with the school, the teachers and the principal. We have moved several times and never have I been as pleased as I am now with a school. I would recommend this school to anyone. The principal is new to Endy; and he is doing a wonderful job, he very active with the kids and he is making changes in a positive direction. He is not one to just sit in his office all day and wait for the kids to leave. He puts in long hours to make sure the kids are safe and receive what is needed.
I am not sure what principal these people are talking about but it is not Mr. Grice. He walks around like he is so much better than everyone else. It is obvious this is his first time of actually being a K-8 principal.
I think that the school is one of the best in the county. The principal is a nice person and I'm sure if you need something from him he will try to help you.
This Principal is one of the best around. He knows every student and their individual situations. He is caring and kind. I would take my child to any school he was at!
