I have four children in this school and the staff is incredible. My children are much more intelligent than I was at their age.
I have only good things to say about T E School. The teachers are great and is all around a good school.
I have one child who just finished at Tabernacle and one in 3rd grade. Their teachers have been wonderful. My oldest is a GE student and Mrs. Tyndall did an excellent job of keeping him challenged. Mrs. Whitener and Mrs. Dunn have done a superior job with both of my children. I was afraid they would be bored if the classrooms were only teaching to average students, but they have kept them challenged. Not ''cookie cutter' at all. They have received very specialized instruction at the levels they are at. The new principal is excellent. I couldn't be happier with a public school.
love the school. last yr was my daughter first yr there.she has ms. woodring and ms.brooks they taught her alot.things she would listen to me about
I was extremely pleased with this school. My child had a tough time adjusting to the school and the staff and his teacher really went above and beyond expectations to reach out to him and make him enjoy coming to school and learning! The parents are very involved with the school and provide excellent support. As for the leadership, I thought the principal was excellent - he connected with the kids, cared about them and effectively worked on their improvement. We are excited to start our other child there this year.
I like Tabernacle the teachers and staff are so friendly. They make you feel like a family.
I think that Ms. Kinley is the best teacher a child could ever have. She taught my grand daughter in 2nd grade and was wonderful. I went on trips with the class and came in for events and saw her in action. The children loved her and she loved them. I saw great success in reading and math. I saw a child who didn't care for school start to love school. I saw a teacher spend her time and money to make a class successful.
We were very disappointed in this school. All children are treated the very same no matter what their special needs are. Very cookie-cutter atmosphere. Also the teachers seem very burnt out and do the very least amount they have to do. Very, very poor leadership! I could not wait to take my son out of there.
I absolutely recommend Tabernacle Elementary School to anyone looking to enroll their child/children. The teachers are thorough and communicate frequently with parents. There are various activities, such as festivals, concerts, and skate parties to get everyone involved. Tabernacle places an emphasis on being involved in your child's education. The principal is a wonderful man. He is sensitive to the children's needs. He greets them in the morning, and is excited to see them. He always has a smile on his face. I love that my son has started school at Tabernacle, and that his brother will attend school there as well. I trust this school with my children's education.
One of the worst schools ever! All the children must be taught the same way in all the same classes. No exceptions are made for children with special learning needs.
