My child has been enrolled at Neighbors Grove Christian Academy for 3 years now (K-2nd grade). I love the school, the administrator and the christian values. My child feels comfortable there because it is smaller than most schools and it has a family atmosphere.

My daughter has been at NGCA since she was 3 yrs old. She is now going into the 7th grade. This school has provided her with an excellent education! Her SAT scores are WAY above the average for Randolph County Public System. As with most things in life, NGCA has had ups & downs, but my daughter's education and religious teachings have never been an issue ! I have/and will always recommend this school from an education/religious level. Her father & I are now going to Church because of the effect this school has had on our daughters life and... her on our lives! She told us we needed to 'get right with GOD!' Way to go NGCA! Neighbors Grove is an outstanding school. The education that my daughter receives is unmatched by other schools in a tri-county area. The student/teacher ratio is low, and the teachers are simply amazing. Going into the 2008-2009 school year the Academy will be going through some much needed change. There will be a new principal along with some staffing changes as well. The school now offers grades K-9th, yearbook staff, Beta Club, Band, and Chorus. I wouldn't send my child anywhere else.

I love this school, I could not imagine not having this school to send my children to, I have had my son and daughter at this school since they were infants, the started in the daycare and made an easy transition to the academy, both of my children have been very happy here, when we have had issues they have been taken care of in a timely manner. i also like the being able to interact with my children on a regular basic with various activities at the school, I hope to continue to see this school grow and to have support from the community and parents so that we can continue to grow in spirit and education.

Grades K-4 and Music are excellent, but I feel the Middle School needs growth. Principal and Teachers do not cummunicate well with parents and neither are easily accessible! Homework is a daily requirement. The student to teacher ratio is low. A library and classes for the special needs children are not available. I have found not found support and concern to be equal amoung staff. Security is also an issue for our family.

This school is okay and it wouldn't be the last school i would send my child to but my daughter was in a.L.[Advance learner]classes ever sence they were first available in third grade and no kind of advance classes are available here!or if your childs case is that they need tutoring and extra learning they do not have that either. There is nothing but regular classes which could be a problem for any child who is not a right on average learner.Everyone there is nice and the security is great because of the key pads at each door. They just need to fix a couple of issues and it would be a great school overall.

My son recently started NGCA. I cannot express how happy I am with this school. In the short amount of time that he has been there I have seen a huge change in his attitude, his self-confidence, and his excitement about school. When he started about a month ago, he couldn't read. He didn't know how to sound out the words, etc. In less than a month he can now sound out lots of words and his abilities grow every day. This is because his teacher spends one on one time with him everyday. You can't get that attention in the public school. We are blessed to have NGCA!

NGCA has been great for my daughter. She is learning how to learn. The cirriculum is tough and the expectations are high. But students are able to learn and excel because they get a lot of individual attention with the low teacher to student ratio. I also really like the security at NGCA. All the doors are code paded for entry. The principal and several teachers are at the doors each morning and each afternoon. The staff knows each child and each childs parents. I am a tough critic when it comes to my children's education and who I leave them with for 8 hours a day. I visited several public and private schols before I made my decision. NGCA was the only school I visited that offered a complete package of security, excelled cirriculum, music lessons, introduction to computers and a low teacher to student ratio. - Sidney McNeill

Teachers make very little contact with parents. NO communication, unless a parent calls them. If your child has even the mildest special needs of any kind, this school is NOT recommended. They do not provide tutoring. Teachers provide some tutoring after school, but only at their convenience. Over all this school has some serious issues with the quality of the food for lunches.
