As far as the Pre-K, do not waste your money or time. The handbook is outdated (2010-2011), and some of the policies have been changed and never updated. Numerous issues with billing, even for their summer camp program. We were contacted about having a bill for the current semester that was not paid when it actually had been as well. Upon meeting with staff, we were told that someone had hacked into their computer system and messed up their billing!?! Too much money for them not to be on top of things. Teachers are nice but I don't think they get much support from the director.
Emmanuel Lutheran is an awesome family centered Christian environment full of caring teachers and staff. My children have been at Emmanuel since Pre-school and have enjoyed a close-knit relationship with their peers and faculty. We have been part of the Emmanuel family for 8 years and I highly recommend the school as a wonderful alternative to public school. Emmanuel has grown their Scouts and Sports program to include all levels of Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Cheerleading and Golf. It has been a blessing to our family and I know it will be a blessing to your family.
Our mission is to inspire and support families to champion their children's education - at
school, at home and in their community. We are a national non-profit with offices and programs
in Oakland, Milwaukee, Washington D.C. and Indianapolis.
