An outstanding public high school with a strong academic program and extraordinary leadership. Well rounded athletic and extra-curricular programs for all students. Proud that both my children attended TC Roberson.

first off i would like to say that I am not a student at TC. But i almost was. I have many fresham friends who go to TC that say they would absolutly love it there if it were not for the freshman academy. I attend a highschool where we dont have the freshman academy and it feels like I am realy in High school. I thik the Academy really prevents the students from getting the real high school experiance. But this is just my opinion, I am not meaning to offend anybody.

If you are an average student, then it can be a good school but if you are looking for a challenge, this school doesn't offer much challenge.

TCR is by far the best high school in Buncombe county hands down. Academic wise, Roberson is known at the college level to be an exeptional school. I got accepted at Carolina, Furman, and Brevard- and found out later that part of that reason was because I went to high school at Roberson. One of the students I got accepted over at Brevard had similar scores, extra-curricular activities, etc. as I did, so it came down to the high school and they were from Reynolds. I found this out after becoming good friends with the head of admissions brother. Athletically, Roberson is hands down the best-no questions asked. We have by far won more conference and state championships than ANY school in WNC. TCR has won nearly 40 state championships, and I could not even count the number of conference championships the school has won. You can't find a better school!

I have graduated from TC after attending for four years. If it had not been for the principal and the staff I would have quit a long time ago. The people that complain about this school have their own issues. It was great for me and I appreciate all that they have done.

TC Roberson was wonderful for my three children. No negative issues, great experiences, honors track and AP helped prepare for further education and now they are on the dean's list at college -- who could ask for more?

This high school offers an excellent education in preparation for the future of students, whether university or community college.

My son goes to this school and he was on a television show called MADE on Mtv. The support was great and the band environment is outstanding, but the drugs here are so bad, that you will never beleive.
