I love gouge i have nothing but positive things to say.
I am very happy with my daughter's progress so far, the programs seem fine. The principal is outstanding and has been one of the best I have seen in years!
I have found Gouge Elementary to be a wonderful school. The administrative staff has always been very responsive and goes to great lenghts to provide a warm and caring environment. The school is a school of excellence because of the hard work of the staff and students. The students are then rewarded for this hard work. I find that teachers take the extra time to be creative and make the work fun yet productive. The one disappointment has been the lack of parent involvement. I think most are involved in their childs work but few want to help with extracurricular activities which also help the school and their child. I think Gouge is one of the best schools in the state and we are very fortunate to have this caliber of school in our small town.
