I absolutely love this school! Almost all of my family have been to this school and we all loved it. We all made great friends and have amazing memories coming out of this amazing school. This is one of the best schools that I have ever been to and I hope all of the up coming students love it there as much as I did.

My granddaughters are attending this school and they are doing very well and learning wonderful things. They all three seem to be doing very well in reading and in math. The teachers are doing a wonderful job.

I have high regards for this school and the teaching staff, most of all their concern especially shown to me for my son, he is attending their now in his first year(3rd grade) and the involvment and concern of his teacher and other staff has been overwhelming. I have gotten positive feedback via in house and over the phone, even when I did not ask for it. So their level of concern to me is 100%. Yes Belmont is a growing town and is not what it use to be as far as 'stuck up' persona. That simply does not exists, this school treats the students individually and I see that within the scope of my child daily. I am adequately pleased with their staff, the studies, the programs, but most of all the teachers genuine concern for my childs learning and his future.

If you want a small town school, Belmont Central is the place! What a great school!!! The teachers and staff really care about your child or children. Volunteering or being apart of the school functions at Belmont Central is a wonderful way to see first hand what the school is all about.

I think that belmont central is a great school. I have two girls that attend and we have loved their teachers over the years. It is a small town school and it helps to know people but the best way to get to know the people in Belmont is to volunteer at school functions. The person who wrote the bad review of our school must not have been too involved in her childs school career because I have seen nothing but care and concern by our teachers and principal. -name withheld

Belmont Central is one of the worst stuck up, pretentiuos schools I have ever had the misfortune to be involved with. The principal is non-existant. The teachers care more about their social status in the school's 'parent community' than they do actually teaching and keeping the other parents informed. And by 'parent community' I mean that if you don't fit in with the 'in' crowd they will let you know it and you will not be welcomed at any function and they will go out of their way to make sure of it. My son has been a student there for 2 yrs. and today I took him out of Belmont Central and placed him with a private teacher for the rest of the school year.I'm also considering moving out of the Belmont area because of this.

This is a great school. Our last son of five boys have been students here. Everyone is so caring and concerned for our childern. They worry about thier learning and their health needs. If times are tough and they can help, they will. That is one of the reasons they have made the North Carolina School of Excellence. Thanks.
