My daughter is a 3rd generation attendee. I wouldn't consider any other school. There seems to be enough extra-curricular and a variety of clubs. I feel that the principles that pass through look for ways to improve the education experience. Online college courses are offered with college & honors credit. My daughter has had a few teachers that truly prepare the path to college. I think if the student applies him/herself, the teacher & other staff is willing to help. Parent involvement is encouraged, but the student is ultimately responsible for his/her responsibilities.

Pleased with school overall. Moved here from Florida and we think the school is solid compared to a much larger school. Good interactions with teachers we have had.

Great staff, great students, good leadership. I think EDHS is a really good school all in all. Teachers are willing to help students most of the time. Good athletic teams and coaches. Activities for students such as chorus and a band program that is growing. It is really a pretty good place!

I think East Duplin is a great school. The principl Dr. Candice Turk is wonderful. She is very involved with the students and what they are learning. She is also a great person to be around. Although we could use some more extra-curicular activites and the availablitly of club is low it is a great school to be at. I would like to thank the teachers I have had for a great time at EDHS.

I myself attended East Duplin High School as a second generation. It is evident that the teachers give a lot of hard work. However, it has prepared me for college like no other instution. Ms. Whitfield is great. I was stuNg by a bee, and had an allergic reaction. When my mother wasn't avilable, Ms. Whitfield followed right behind the ambulance. She stayed with me the whole time. She didn't stop there she made sure that the whole school campus was exterminated for bees and such. She also purchased all new trash cans with lids to reduce the bee population. East Dupin is by far the best school out there.

We just recently moved to the area and this school is a big difference from my daughters old school. The principal has put too many rules on the kids. I think that she should be a bit more lenient on some of the rules she has put on them. This school could use some more extra-curricular activities. It seems that most of the kids aren't at all interested in other school functions. The school altogether is not that bad but it could use a little more variety.
