...this school needs get their priorities together! The counselor for the seniors almost refuses to help with any questions they have for college. She discourages them instead of helping them. The new principal spends more time trying to take things away from the students and make the teachers miserable than she does trying to improve the academics. And the teachers are so frustrated with the principal that they are taking it out on the students. What's going on Starmount?
I attended Starmount High School and was very un-prepared for college. I was well behind my peers on my college campus. However, I graduated from the top ten percent of my graduating class at Starmount. Perhaps this school should focus more on academics and less on sports?
Very proud of the school. It is an asset to our community. My husband and daughter graduated from Starmount, and now my grandson is attending Starmount. It has all that larger schools have plus the benefits of qualified, interested teachers. It is a Ram proud school.
