Love love love Anderson creek primary! This school is wonderful! Your child is a name not a number. The teachers and staff treat you like family when you walk in the door. I know when my son is at Anderson creek primary school he is well taken care of and that's a wonderful feeling to have. The reading program is great they really know how to make learning fun. My son will be attending his second grade year and I can't pick my favorite teachers because the are all wonderful! Keep up the great work Acp!

Anderson Creek Primary is a Great school. Three of my children have attended this school. The teachers are fantastic, especially Mrs. Ramsey. They really seem to care about the children and work hard to get the children the help they need in the areas that they are not the best in. There are so many programs for math and reading outside of the regular classoom for extra help. The speech program is great as well as Ms. Goodnight- the guidance counselor. They have a program for children that have a deployed parent too.

My daughter just completed Kindergarten at Anderson Creek. I started the year off nervous and unsure about my child being in someone elses care all day, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. My daughter did very well in reading and writing and loved her teacher. The class size was big, but there's nothing they can do about that (unless more funds come in). Next year I'll have two daughters in AC and we all look forward to it.

The school is excellent. Even though it's in a rural area with a lot of underprivileged children, the faculty and staff have created a wonderful environment for the children to learn and play. The principal is always working on improving the school grounds and making sure the kids have all the latest equipment and resources. Even the kindergardeners have a smart board in every classrooms. The only thing I would object on is the lack of involvement of some parents (but that is more of a community than school issue.) I love the emphasis they put on reading and proper behavior. My son truly enjoyed his kindergarden year and can't wait to go on to 1st grade.

My 2 children have been attending ACPS for this school year so far so good! Most of the teachers are hip & do projects that keep the kids interested! I think that teachers having a new look on teaching & come up w/new ways instead of sticking w/same ol' regiment will get further w/school kids! The only thing I have had an issue w/is some of the teachers punishment ways....its a elementary school where kids are trying to be socialable and learn new fun things not for talking lil bite being made to walk lap after lap during recess. I do believe in punishment & have consequences to actions but its school not boot camp. I have also seen some teachers yelling loudly @ the students I don't agree w/that at all...but overall a good school!

Anderson Creek Primary School has to be one of the most welcoming schools I have ever been to. Every time I enter the office, even to drop off a snack everyone is so friendly and appreciative. The staff is excellent and the Principal is one of the best I have seen. I have heard some negative talk about the curriculum in Harnett County and in my opinion it is from individuals who are misinformed. My child received excellent instruction in both kindergarten and first grade. He is well above his peers in other states that I know of and there is no difference in what he has learned in comparison to the Cumberland County Curriculum. The special education program here is excellent and there is no finer teacher than Mrs. Ogle. I would recommend this school highly and I wish we were not moving away from it.

We enrolled our daughter in kindergarten in ACPS, because of the reviews we had read. However, the school did not come close to meeting our expectations. ACPS said they would individualize the teaching to meet each child s needs in learning. The curriculum is well behind were it should be. For example, one of their objectives is to count to thirty by the end of the school year. Her younger brother is in a private, preschool for K4 and their curriculum is much more advanced than my daughters kindergarten class. By the schools standards my daughter could advance to the first grade without even entering kindergarten. She went to preschool where she already learned the colors, shapes, recognition of letters and sounds, and how to write her name, unfortunately there has been little improvement since and half year has been wasted. The school/teachers are nice, but wasted when students do not learn!

I love this school. I am one of those super picky parents and based where we bought our house according to the schools. Anderson Creek Primary has been the best school. The staff is very friendly, Mrs. Coleman has been the best, and they are very good to all families, not just those in the military. I love the fact that they have cameras around the school and on the buses to keep the students even safer. This school is all about positive reinforcement and praise. Thank you Anderson Creek Primary Staff!

Anderson Creek is an excellent example of what a young child's learning environment should be. They are very caring and loveing to their students and provide an environment that encourages parents to be involved. Christyl Collins

As a military brat turned military parent, I found a lot of civilian schools difficult to work with military students, but Anderson Creek is very understanding with the military children and even provide special programs for children of deployed military parents. I love the school and the people, although I do think their view of the Kindergarden curriculum is a bit on the advanced side. I think the school focuses on children whom have already went through Pre-School, which puts a strain on those children who have not. Therefore their 'average' student level is higher and makes those children whom have not experienced Pre-School fall behind and need extra help. Other than that, I think it is a wonderful school that loves their children and encourages parental involvement! Great Job Mrs. O'Quinn and staff!

I really appreciated my son's kindergarten year here. His teacher was very experienced and kept communicating with me. My son was difficult and may be ADHD and his teacher worked with him throughout the year without any medication. After meeting the 1st grade teacher I have the same confidence in her abilities as well. I am very happy with the school.
