Pender Early College is the best school in Pender County. In it's first graduating class alone, students have all been accepted to competitive universities including Harvard University, and received pretigious scholarships such as the Morehead-Cain scholarship at UNC-Chapel Hill. This can't be said for other schools in Pender County.
It's about time students were offered a challenging curriculum with choices about their education. This is the future of education.
The learning atmosphere is stunning. Teachers are always trying unorthodox methods to teach the students, and compared to other schools, the opportunities here are too much to pass by.
This school is amazing! We are given a great deal of responsibility, we gget much freedom, we are challenged to our competency, & above. But the best part is, we have a lot of one-on-one and extra time that we can come get help when it is needed! Awesome. Anyone who thinks about going, should definitely try it out!
