Harvey R Newlin Elementary School

I do not recommend this school...run to another school while you have the option!!! My child had a terrible experience with the school faculty. She made excellent grades, but was mistreated by faculty after making complaints of being bullied. As a new student, my child was miserable in this school and nothing was done to improve her experience.

Newlin is a great school. The teachers work to meet the needs of the students. They have a great new principal, who seems to put the families and kids first. I have seen a lot of improvement at this school.

The old principal, Dr. Miller was spot on. She knew how to reach the hardest to reach kids. My children loved going to school when she was there. We were sad to see her go. We hope that the new principal is as caring and supportive as she was!

I think that this school has no fun! My kids come home from this school everyday, sad a helpless! They said......'mom i hate that school becausewe do the same boring things everyday'! i was very upset to see them like that!

I don't recommend this school at all. They only care about test scores and nothing else. My kids come home in tears every day from here. I don't see the nurturing that kids need at all there for them to really think they can grow up and do good things with their life.
