It's unfortunate I graduated from this school. There are no extra curricular classes most public schools offer, which seems to be by choice not because of a lack of students. It seems this school is just a preparation school for the military in a lot of ways, being that most of my friends that graduated went into the military. A lot of the teachers seriously did not care, and the few that did were too over burdened. Not once did this school talk about college or vocation. Not once. The best class I was ever in was a Leadership class, and I don't think it even exists anymore. I wish I had dropped out at 16 and got my GED instead of wasting time. Everything was about the bare minimum, there was no "push" at all, and the teachers did Not want to teach certain subjects, so they didn't. Such an odd mixture of exceptional teachers and some really bad ones. Some classes gave us all of the answers right before the test so you didn't have to study, just remember the answers to the test questions. I don't even think I knew who the principle was. This school should be more open to dependents that live off of base to allow the school to evolve to the same status as surrounding public schools.

Very disappointed :( ! We were really looking forward to our children going to school on base again and being in a military community school but since having my son enrolled here we have been pretty disappointed with must everything. The extracurricular classes are lacking, there is very little parent support or participation and some of the teachers should have been replaced along time ago. Also there is a problem with theft and very little is done other than to blame the victim. So glad we are moving and my daughters won't have to attend this school. They were dreading it!

The schools here are amazing. The teachers are really committed the school is kept up really well and the atmosphere is wonderful. The classes are really small, which is a blessing and a curse. The kids dont slide by with anything but they get the one on one attention they need. Best High school in onslow county

The classes are not very good, however, the atmosphere of a military dependent school is very comforting. The school is very small, which can be a good or bad thing.
