Just wanted to add that there will be a new elementary school in the district opening in 2013, so if you're planning on moving into the district bear in mind that there will be redistricting going on soon to accommodate the new school. We are in the traditional (not dual language) program and have been pleased with the school.

It is very strange that 11 of the reviews were submitted from Sept 16 to 18 in 2009. I am a parent looking at moving into the Carrboro Elementary school district. I wonder is all the (very complimentary) reviews were submitted by one parent? I would like some more current reviews. The most recent one is not favorable!

If you have a poor teacher there is nothing the principal will do about it other than try to pacify you into thinking all is okay. Stay away from 2nd grade teachers. Many parents are upset.

in an effort to ensure all k-gardeners were well prepared and feeli g comfortable, teachers came to each child's home to visit and get to know their future student. This was a huge effort and time consuming and only on e of the many ways this school goes the extra mile
