I am also a parent at NLCA and I have to concur with the parent from September of 2011 that stated the children did not have books. That was almost four months ago and they still don't have any books. They offer no legitimate explanation and seem to not understand that they lack credibility as an institution when they fail to deliver a basic instructional tool, such as books. No books is just one of the many shortcomings of this school. There also seems to be an inordinate amount of students with behavioral issues, which may be a result of this school's acceptance of children expelled from CMS. Also, it is untrue that the pastor and his wife are very involved with school. If so, they must do so outside of normal school hours. With that said, I would never recommend NLCA to any parent. Aside from the caring teachers, this place has very little to offer and can never expect to satisfactory reviews other than from individuals who are accustomed to chaos and disorder. Parents please beware of this school and PLEASE find a better educational environment for your child.

I thought this school was great at first. Regardless I don't want my child in public school and this is the most affordable Christian school around. Education wise it is okay but not at the level it should be. I believe the teachers are overworked at times. They look exhausted at times and I want to rescue them and figure out what I can do to help. As parents we were told that the students would have books on the first day of school but they still don't have books yet! I don't know about other parents, but I pay my school bill on time and want my child to have books. I'm sure the teachers are creative with the materials that they have to teach the kids. I do love the fact that the teachers care about the students no matter if they're in their class or not!

My son attended New Life Christian Academy School this past school year. i felt that the instructional level was great for my child. I feel it is a great attribute when kids participate in various activities that allow them to grow internally. My son has displayed great success this past year, so I am thankful for the adminstration and teachers at New Life Christian Academy.

NLCA is the best school ever! The administrator and the staff are wonderful and loving. This is our first year attending Private school and I must say the best investment as a parent I could have made. When my 3rd grader came home saying, "Mommy let me lay hands on you and pray for you, since you're not feeling well." I knew from that day I made the right choice by enrolling my boys in this school. I love this school and already enrolled my boys for 2011-2012 school year. This is not just a school, we are family at New Life Christian Academy. Thank you Pastor Kee and Felice for your vision. NLCA changed my families life!

My child has been attending New Life since Pre-K and it is a wonderful school. The administration and staff care not only about the students' education but their overall well being. Many students have left the school to attend public school and have been skipped a grade upon being tested. The teachers challenge the students as well as make adjustments for the student who are struggling. The pastor, who is the founder and visionary of the school, as well as his wife are very involved with the school. They show their concern for each and every child at the school. I would recommend and have recommended this school to many and will continue to do. As a parent, I intend to continue to be part of the solution instead of creating any problems.

The teachers are NOT certified. The teachers are NOT CPR/ First Aid trained. The pastor, visionary, founder is NOT involved with the school. Parents paid for books for the school year and the students NEVER received any books for the 2010-2011! The students at this school are NOT getting a quality education. The principal and most of the staff are not qualified for their positions. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone!

While I do appreciate the biblical aspect of the curriculum the academics are lacking core foundation. Remembering an answer is not the same as knowing how you got the answer. I think NLCA works best with children that have behavioral issues or some learning issues

I like New Life Christian Academy. My child has been at the school for a long time. I love the biblical principles my child learns. However, the school upper administrative and teaching staff seems to have a lackadaisical attitude about the education of their students. Most of the staff s children don t attend the school. Which sends up a major red flag about the education; if it s not good enough for the staff s children why should I send my child there?
