Hello ,My Daughter is in India and she will be coming to USA on DEC-13. Am planning join school. Have the following questions :1. What is the process of getting her into Normal school and Magnet Schools. Is there any difference.2.Can she join 2012-2013 academic yearThanksAmar

When you get to your new home, you'll need a few things to enroll her:
Proof of residence (usually a utility bill or lease agreement), her immunization record, her birth certificate, and any information from her school you can provide--transcripts for example.
She can join a public school in your neighborhood for this year, but magnet schools typically have an enrollment period. On the other hand, you'll be arriving right in time for the 2013-14 magnet period.
