i believe our school could improve. maybe along with some teachers, but the most important component are the parents. we need to be there to support teachers and encourage our children.

I'm biased since I am an enrolled member of the EBCI and a teacher here. I also am a parent since my daughter goes to school here. We have good teachers and administrators. We all put the students first and recognize how important education is for them. Our school is like any other school. There will always be challenges whether they are with people or programs. What I try to remember is that all our students deserve the best. I give them 100%. I think we all do. We need support from everyone--especially parents. I'm grateful for all parents who call or come in to talk to check on their child's progress. Education is not one person's responsibility. We are a team--teacher-parent-administrator-school board-student. Cherokee Central Schools are growing and improving every semester--as are the students.

Very low academically. Weak administration along with poor teachers in core subjects make this school below average. Just look at the test scores. Turn over in teachers and administration is the main problem along with school board running off the best teachers they have.
