West Forsyth has a non responsive guidance department. Hope you NEVER have a problem with a class. They won't be able to help. And the principle? Don't expect a return phone call. Unfortunately, this school is on a new block schedule and it has created huge headaches!
I have been at west for four years and could not say better things about it. The teachers I had were all amazingly well educated and extremely present and helpful, as was the principal. The arts programs there are also superior, and not just because of talented students but talented teachers as well. All of my classes were challenging on one level or another, and even when I had some issues at home I got a ton of support from all of my teachers and even the principal himself in assisting me with graduation. I always felt safe around the other students and even though I was new to town my freshman year, accepted with open arms by everyone. West is quite possibly the best school in the state let alone district and county.
I am a junior at West and I absolutely love it. The teachers and the and prinicpals make the school such an enjoyable place. The teachers really challenge students and give every opportunity for them to be successful. As a dance team member, board member of the Interact Club, and an honor roll student, West Forsyth is a wonderful! place to be. I highly reccomend West Forsyth for anyone!
I am a parent of a senior at West Forsyth High School. Our four years at West have been a most enjoyable experience. The Principal and Asst Principals really care about the students and encourage them always. The past four years my daughter at some point in time has been involved in sports, band, chorus, drama, volunteering, clubs, the Prom, etc. She has a 4.02 GPA, was accepted at several colleges and has received several scholarships for college. I am highly impressed and abundantly satisfied with the education and guidance that my daughter has received at this school. Thank You West Forsyth High School for 4 great years!!
This was by far the worst experience that my child has had at being at West. Principal was all about himself and you couldnt reason with him and teachers never seemed to care. I transferred my child out. Dont think about sending your child her
West forsyth is a progressive high school with a fantastic available principal and good teachers.
Great school good spirit and exellent teachers that care!
I had a daughter at West (grad. 2006) and currently a son as a sophmore at West. This is our 6th year being involved at West and yes, like all High Schools you have problem children, but my kids and the kids they associated with never had issues with any teacher or student. We found West a good school with good teachers. We can recommend it any day to anybody.
Good School. Good Principle. Not that good teachers. Discipline and safety is kind of bad but thats in every highschool like that.
great school, graduated in 2007, great teacher as well as great supervisors, students are awesome and athletics are amazing
