My son has had a great experience there so far. He is a junior and has outstanding teachers in both honors and standard classes. Ms Rhymer has made Central look like it should again. Mostly just good people both students and staff.

I LOVED THIS HIGH SCHOOL!! I would not have wanted to attend any other school in the area! CCHS offers everything a student could want. There are tons of sports and clubs that can easily accessed, and if you don't find the club you are looking for, you can start your own. The administration is exellent!!!! The principal is always out in the halls talking with students and is the friendliest person on the entire campus, but she still knows how to deal with any problems if they occur. The Viking Pride is something you just have to experience!! Pep rallies and games are green and gold all the way!!! SO PROUD TO SAY I GRADUATED FROM CENTRAL CABARRUS HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!

this school is one of the best you will find. the teachers and faculty do their best to provide the students and teenagers of Concord with the highest possible education and learning system there is. if you don't like this school, you're simply pessimistic, close minded, and you didn't give it a good enough chance. and if you're a parent with a negative opinion about this school, how would you know anyway? i'm a student, and i think i have the right to say that until you've attended classes here yourself and actually seen the quality we provide, you don't know what you're talking about. rock on Vikings!

Actually I loved central when I was there I didn't like it. I use to complain about going now that I found out I have to go to another school I wish I would had never complained. The teachers there always helped me they won't let you give up. On the outside it looked like a boring school but in the inside it was a school of possibility. I never got in trouble but while I was at my old school I was always in trouble. I would like to thank my teachers mrs.Biondi,mr.mizelle,coach calvert, mrs.Averell I would really like to think her. I would like to graduate from central in the future! sheonda mackin

I'm actually a student at CCHS and I love it. I have several friends at other schools in the county. Their drug problems/safety issues are much bigger than ours. For a school our age, we have a fairly clean environment. We have more academic opportunities than other schools including a theater, planetarium, internship classes allowing college credit (Early Childhood Education for example) and amazing test schools. The guidance counselors care a lot and so does the administration. The 11th grade administration knows my name and most of my friends' names... and we don't get in trouble! The head administration does as much as they can for the students, but must consider and investigate all sides, which I have seen personally as far as a bad teacher I had. They had to investigate and the problem was taken care of. We have amazing extra curriculars and fun teachers.

This school is a BIG dissappointment. We have had to move several times in the past few years with job transfers. All the high schools in NC prior to being here at CCHS have been great. Central Cabarrus has a faculty that does not care about the students and a principal that is even worse. We have found that there is 'reverse discrimination' here in the worst of ways. One teacher who is also a neighbor agrees with us on that. My children's educations have suffered terribly because of the poor system in place here. Calling the county school board does no good either. We've tried everything. Thankfully we have great kids who unfortunately have had to just adapt to poor standards in the school. We are planning to move again, NOT for work this time, BUT SO WE CAN GET THE KIDS IN BETTER SCHOOLS!!

We moved to NC in Nov. my daughter enrolled in this school and had nothing but problems. She has alot of health problems and we recieved nothing but stress and aggravation from the entire school. Administrators are cold and uncaring, Principals care little if anything about the students. Nobody there will even attempt to try to work with the students or parents to make attending a postitve experience. I will not allow my kids to attend this school, even if I have to move to another area!

The school is a disappointment because of all of the staff at the school they can not keep the drugs that the students bring to the school out and stop the horseplaying and other stuff like that. The school is pretty clean, except for the bathrooms. The cafietera/ Noris Cove areas are just disgusting with all of the gum and all of the food on the walls. Some teachers can not keep control of their classes and they still expect us to take and pass the exams when we do not know what is even going on because we can not hear the teachers when they talk.
