The principal seems only to be interested in the first in math scores so much that all the kids do in computer class is play on the first in math site so they can be top in the state in first in math.keep in mind that first in math is teaching math not well neede computer skills.the principal looks good if the school scores well with first in math but the kids do not learn anything about computers
St. James is a great place to be! I thoroughly enjoy coming to work each day and honestly feel that the staff, parents and students here are one big family!
This is the BEST elementary our family has been a part of. It's more of a family than a school. Very nurturing and very high achieving. Teachers teach outside the box. Classes have little gardens. Fun programs like being on the daily news! They have a weather station! Fantastic principal! Incredible teachers!
Mr. Larry Shouse has got to be the best principal EVER ! He is so involved, and the children love him, the parents love him, and his staff love him. I hope Lincoln county NEVER takes him out of that school !
This is our third year in this school. My son has special needs and everybody is so helpful and understanding. This school is the reason we live in this area.
st james is a great school all the staff are well educated and loving, in 3 years I have not had any problems nor concerns for my childs education and wellfair
My experience has been exceptional with this school. We moved from out of state, one month into the school year, and were recieved with open arms. My son's transition into this new enviroment has been quite smooth I believe in part to the warmth and kindness he has recieved from the staff and teachers. He is being challenaged in a nurturing, adaptable enviroment. The school thus far seems to meet my expectations, exceed in some cases. My son's previous school lacked the blend of strict rules, tack and respect, that I have found to be prevailent here. I have trust our entire experience will be positive.
