Drexel Elementary School

Had my doubts at first (when we moved into the state and this school area) because of previous reviews but a talk with the office staff and principal at the beginning of the school year soon got rid of those. This is a school that is working very hard to make sure the children have a good education. The principal is very easy to communicate with and i havent found him to be rude at all, He is just basic facts and straight forward which is exactly what you need a principal to be. I bought a house out of this schools area after renting within the area and i will be doing everything to make sure my daughter can stay in this school.

We love Drexel. No complaints about this school. All of my son's teachers have been wonderful to him. Here's hoping BCPS can retain accreditation though.

I agree with the other parent i think the teacher's are great but the principal Shane Mace is verrrrry rude. He thinks he owns the school. I wish they would get another principal to replace him. I was actually going to send my kid to another school but they didn't want to switch because they liked their teacher.

I personally think this school is great. The teachers are very caring and nurturing. My son is Autistic and I could not think of a better school for him. Brad Spake

I believe this is one school that really cares about children and puts the children first. I am proud to be a teacher at Drexel Primary.
