BCA is an awesome school! My children have been attending for years, and have been taught to be academically and spiritually ready for whatever comes their way. BCA goes out of their way to accommodate children with learning disabilities, and those with medical conditions...so, I'm not sure what the post from Aug 4 '15 was talking about. My guess is it's just another example of a frustrated parent who simply won't admit that their child's needs exceed what most normal schools (private and public) can accommodate. It also sounds like the person is looking to find a school to "parent" their child vs taking responsibility for a child who already has learning issues. People like this should STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM and PARENT THEIR CHILD TO ACCOMMODATE THEIR NEEDS. IT STARTS AT HOME PEOPLE!!!

Amount of homework: Agree

This school is not the school for you if your child faces any kind of learning disability. The school openly admits they have made no provisions for students with extra needs and the attitude they give is they are not interested in assisting anyone to this end. Odds are that there are going to be students with learning needs so I feel sorry for students who are struggling because of the schools lack of commitment toward assisting parents and their child with their needs.

My daughter has been in BCA for two years and there's no better school for her to be in! I took the leap of Faith and it's definitely worth it. When my husband and I met the principal, you can tell that he's sincere about giving the children a Kingdom education. All the teachers are nice, it's like having another set of family. They are not snobby at all if you get to know them. They're there with a mission, and that is to be there for the kids. Not because they're just trying to earn a living. Having my child acquire high test ratings is just another perk.

Bethesda Christian Academy is a private K-8 school. It serves over 200 students. The academy is warm, loving and caring. It strives to create a family atmosphere where students are free to focus on learning. Average end of grade scores are well above the national average. The teachers at Bethesda strive to create out of the box lessons that engage the students in higher level thinking. Common Core Standards are used to enhance the grade level objectives. The school is equipped with a state of the art computer lab; smartboards, smart TV's. Our family loves the education our children have received from BCA.

Wonderful top notch Christian education with excellent caring teachers!! I am so glad I made the choice to send my child to this school.

This is a great school. I probably can't say enough good about it. It is one of the least expensive of the private schools in the area. The staff are always happy and excited to see the kids, and I have never been there that anyone has even given me just a nod instead of a "Hello". My daughter has just flourished there in kindergarten, and we are looking forward to more of the same for 1st grade.
