After dealing with the kindergarden teachers, other grades wern't so bad. After the former assistant principle left, it's like we dont even have an assistant, shes hardly around. Teachers are great, Especially Mrs. Kraft and Mr. Highsmith. Two of the best!!! Mr. principle man needs to go ahead and retire. The parent envolvement is high and even the bus drivers are friendly.
I am a brand new teacher here, and I would have to say this will be my last year. The administration is absolutely horrible. Only the teachers bring this school something to offer.
My daughter is in the 2nd grade, and so far I have been very pleased with her education. I myself having been a student at Forbush could not think of anywhere else I would rather raise my child then home, which includes Forbush Elementary.
My 3 children attend Little Forbush. The benefits they are receiving from the community supported atmosphere will help them to succeed throughout their lives. The teacher to student ratios allow one on one time for teachers to truly know the children and help them reach their potential.
This school is lucky to have the teachers that it does! The administration is the absolute worst of any in the county. I feel they need a fresh face in the office, or they will slowly lose the quality teachers (whom they haven't already scared off) and the school will slowly implode upon itself.
I have had 3 children go through FES and I think it is an excellent school with great staff and administor. The academic preparation for high school was more than adequate. The community atmosphere is felt and parent involvement keeps the children involved in school and recreational activities. No school is perfect but little Forbush has instilled great qualities in my son and 2 daughters.
I think this school does not treat individuals fairly and they pay too much attention to things that do not matter and not enough to the actual students who make the school what it is. No wonder people homeschool their children when there are schools like this one in our communities!
The school administrators and teachers are fabulous. They work with the children and support them both inside and outside of the classroom. The recreational activities are well organized with student and parent involvement very high. Also, parent involvement in PTF and academic activities is very high. I would highly recommend the school.
