Hillandale Elementary School

I love Hillandale because the teachers are so caring and attentive to the students needs.

My son has attended this school for the last two years. All the teachers, staff, etc. are wonderful. They know him when we see them out and always speak. They encourage communication between teachers and parents and we stay informed as to what is going on. I can't wait for my youngest to start kindergarten at Hillandale next fall. I will do what I can to assure we remain in this district.

I do not know what happened that this parent is so against Hillandale. This past year was the first year my daughter attended and she had a wonderful caring teacher. My daughter made A Honor Roll every semester and had a nothing but good things to say about it. We were going to move out of the area to be closer to my husbands job but because my daughter and her desire to stay at Hillandale we have decided to drive the extra distance just so she could attend this school. I feel very bad for the woman who wrote this bad review and hope that her son/daughter has better expierence somewhere else.

Would not allow my child to attend this school. Almost any other option should be explored, including homeschooling. The teachers appear to be far more concerned with themselves and their own personal advancement, than that of the children.
