My child recently started going here, and I have not had one problem! His spelling words are a little less difficult than his last school, but he homework that he has is age appropriate and he's actually having more to do than spelling (unlike his other school). The principal could use a slight attitude adjustment, although I've only dealt with her a few times. All in all, I think it's an ok school!

I really greatly dislike the principal. The teachers don't really speak proper English. I come from CA and a great town with great schools, and although the teachers are nice enough the standards are much lower here.

I am a parent of a student at this school and I don't think that they are teaching the kids on the correct curriculum for their grade level. My child is in the first grade and the math that my child is bringing home for home work on Mondays are crazy. There is no way a siz year old child can do this math and explain it to the teacher or anyone for that fact. My child come home everyday with a issue with something and my child is not a bad child. My child tells me that they are being yelled at everyday by the teacher and the aide in the class. I have to give my child encouragement every morning to go to school. It was the same thing last year. I wrote note back and forward to the teacher and thigs really did not get better, and happening.

I have such a great pleasure to have my 4 and 5 grade in Ponderosa. Teachers are great they give the best to teach the students, they keep parents up to date on kids grades plus they go that extra mile to have children have succes. PTO keeps all parents updated also I have never seen a pto so organize like Panters PTo. I give the school 5 stars because my kids attend Ponderosa and I personaly have seen how the school works hard to give them and all students a Solid Education they are here for the student. Excelent School To Have you Kids in. Thank you !!!!!

Ponderosa is a great place for young students. The teachers are all caring and well trained. The principal is interested in al the students. We went to Ponderosa with our son from k-3rd grade. If yuy want your child to have a solid education in a fun and caring setting, Ponderosa is the place. The Parent Teacher Organization is an excelent place to help and get involved with the many events at the school and to meet other like-minded parents.
