My daughter is in the 4th grade and has been attending Hefner since Kindergarten. She loves the school and the staff/faculty. The teachers and staff are great with her. We have never had a problem that could not be solved by talking to the teacher and/or the principle. The school is very safety oriented, which is a huge plus.

I love this school my teacher Ms.Conis is the best 5th grade teacher for your child. She really gets real learning done the kind you want you kids to graduate with. And when I found out this year in the 4th grade I might be moving before my 5th grade year I was very upset. Because here at BHES you can make alot of friends and get alot of learning. But I didnt move and Im here at BHES. And next year going to ACMS Anne Chestnutt Middle School where I can be closer to my Cousins school at LCMS Lewis Chapel Middle School. So send your kid here when they start kindergarten next year.

This is my sons first year here and he's currently in the 1st grade. I believe this is an average school when it comes to the office faculty but as far as my sons teacher goes, I don't think she's a very good teacher. I hardly ever get anything sent home explaining what the teacher wants my child to do. I usually have to try and figure it out on my own. I ask her questions and when I do, the response is usually a rude one and on top of that she blamed my son for not having the info when I know my son is responsible. Also, the homework sent home is too easy for my son. He's finished in under 5 minutes resulting in not getting a better education than he deserves. Maybe I just got a bad teacher but I'm definately thinking about changing schools.

My child is in the 2nd grade now but has been with BH since kindergarten. I absolutely love this school. The whole staff have definitely made me comfortable in knowing that he his well taken care of and will get the appropriate attention that all children deserve. They also make it a welcoming experience when I do get the chance to volunteer in classroom or go to eat lunch with him. I definitely believe that as a parent we should all take more intiative when it comes to our children's learning. And staying involved with the school to help out the teachers should be no different. A big "thanks" goes out to ALL of the staff @ BH!! Thanks for teaching my son!

Poor communication from staff to parents. Child attended part of first grade after having moved from out of state mid year. Tried to get information from administration on child's adjustment, staff was quick to dismiss our concerns and state that they had many children they had to look after. I exercised my parental right and pulled him out and started homeschooling, after which, they took the time out of their busy schedule to call and leave a message on my machine to let me know that they thought I was making a big mistake. My son was eventually diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, which makes sense, in his record it stated history of global developmental delay and sensory issues. I hope they don't overlook these kids who really do need a little EXTRA help adjusting in the future.

Worst prinipal I have ever come into contact with. She is NOT meant for elementary school. I have been fortunant to have great teachers for my child and thankfully don't have to deal with that woman, but watch out if you have to come in contact with her, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde kidda personality.

My son is happy to come home and do his homework with both myself and his mom. The staff and teachers are the best in the County and really take pride in the work. It shows in the kids and in there grades. Plus the Staff treat all kids the same no matter skin color. Thanks for being a great learning environment for my kid
