We are new to this school. My daughter is in the 4th grade. We moved in the middle of the school year and it has been a GREAT transition. The teachers are all sooo wonderful. Very caring and loving. She is learning things here that she didn't learn at her old school and it is a challenge but they are very helpful and make sure she has the tools to learn. They do alot of reading, which I think is very good! Very happy to have my daughter in this school...the teachers and principal are great!

Four Oaks is a great school! Teachers are motivating and exciting! My child has done a great job at this school and has shown a lot of growth especially in reading. He also expresses how much he loves his teacher which is important to me. I do however think that the teachers are fustrated, over worked, and edgy. I'm not sure why this is but they do have a longer school day from 7:40-3:05 where other schools in the area have 6 and 1/2 hour days.

Four Oaks Elementary has been there for my children&exceeded my expectations. My daughter was a student & after finishing kindergarten was reading at a level 24! The teachers are kind, compassionate, caring&nuture the students. There is a very strong sense of community&suppport here that you will not find anywhere else...you are not a number but an individual which is what sets this school apart! The town is fabulous, just think Mayberry !

I really think this school is overcrowded, and not enough well educated teachers. My child has a 21 year old teacher that talks about her personal life. She seems very impatient and does not have experiance. The teachers seem to be very edgy, and boring.Ever since I moved to this county my childs grades have been going down. She used to be an honor student and my son was an aversge child and is now failing because they can not seem to teach. The matter is overcrowded and inexperienced teachers.
