Staff and students have positive interactions every day. This school is small enough to allow a family/village feel to it.

Thank you, Lisa Barrows! She is an excellent teacher who goes above and beyond. The kids know she cares about them which makes them work harder and persevere with tough assignments. She has little pearls of wisdom about growth mindset and curriculum that lead kids to discover new strategies and skills for learning and dealing with tough situations.

My child has blossomed under the care and guidance of the staff. Her self confidence has improved and she enjoys going to school.

Ballentine teachers are amazing. They are smart, creative and hardworking. They are limited in time due to the over-testing they are required to do. I think these teachers need the freedom to teach they way they know how to do.

The younger kids have a little too much. Kindergarten is not like it used to be. The older grades need it to prepare them for middle school.

There are several interventions in place to help kids with whatever they might be struggling with. Giving up isn't an options. Walking beside, encouraging, students in the norm.

We have several students that have special needs. Our school requested they be at our school. Our older students take younger students under their wings. The kids care for each other.

Integrity is more important than test scores. Our principal is strongly concerned that each child, regardless of social status, be treated with the same fairness.
