Not a great place for a child with health issues. Health plan was not followed. You have to stay on top of things to get anything done. Took many tphone calls and visits to get testing of any kind done and office staff took over three weeks to a month getting some paper work that I needed.

Rand Road recently received a "School of Distinction" honor from the ABC tests for the 2009-2010 school year. It has been a wonderful school for my children. The principal and staff make great strides to get to know the kids. I've been extremely pleased with the school.

My child was in the 2nd grade when a change in principalship happened. The new principal has made too many unneeded changes, chased out too many beloved staff members... The worst of all, the EOG scores have gone form the mid 90's to the mid 70's.

I don't think this school has students as it's number one priority. Teachers don't encourage students, they use cell phones in class and tone of voice with children is unacceptable.

My son has been attaending for 2 years. The staff is great and they seem to want to best out of the kids. They push for that extra something.

This school is awesome for your children. I have three there and they all are getting a great education. Their AG program is just wonderful. They look at so many different levels of intelligence and adjust a plan suited for your gifted child. Their activities for the children are really fun. They are soon to have their annual Rand Road Run which the children enjoy each year. They have both art and music programs with specialized teachers in each. Unfortunately they lost their funding for their Spanish teacher and they no longer teach Spanish. It was a wonderful class for all the kids at the school and it is really missed. Parents stay involved with their children here wether its the support the kids get at home or the parent volunteers at the school. They are always willing to help out.

My daughter is in second grade at Rand Road Elementary and I am very happy with this school. They involve the parents and they call you right away if your child gets hurt or sick. The staff are very nice and caring. I would recommand Rand Road to any parent that is looking a good school for their children.
