Goldsboro High School

Ghs is where I spent my last four years of high school.I loved it then and if I ever get to go back and tour it, I will probably get teary-eyed with memories.

I graduated from this school in 2006. I came to school from California, so I only went there my senior year. I can honestly say I made the best grades that year, but only because it wasn't very challenging at all. I had pretty decent teachers but I think the over all problem there is very poor administration and counseling staff. Being a transfer student was difficult and they didn't offer me much help to make the transition easier. Overall, it was definitely my worst year of high school. I hated it.

I am a junior at this school. I have been here for three years, I play football here, and I must say that I absolutely love this school. I take pride in being a goldsboro high school student. I am proud of my school and its rich history, and I know I am not alone. Look anywhere, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a school wih more awards and honors than goldsboro in either academics or sports. Cougar pride!

My son is currently a 9th grager enrolled @ Goldsboro High. Since entering the school his grade has improved. He has gone from a C- student back to a B student. I fell the small class size has had a great impact on him. He entered the school as a gradute from the New York City school system where the avergae class size is approx. 30-40 children per class. The teachers & school staff are a wonderful & caring group of people who want nothing more than for your child to excell.
