We love Wayne Montessori Preschool. Our child has been enrolled for over two years. They accept children when they turn 2.5 and they do not have to be potty trained - both very helpful to us. This is a true Montessori school with Montessori trained teachers, materials and curriculum. Any school can call itself "Montessori" but this one is the real deal. All of the teachers are excellent and caring.

While this school was in part what brought us in part to Goldsboro unfortunately now, we can see a lot of problems with teachers and the principal.

This is our second year at WMh for your little one. S and we love it! The Montessori cirriculum is exactly what we were looking for and the teachers at WMS do a great job. Each of the three children's house teachers have unique personalities, so it's easy to find the perfect match for your little ones!

If you want the best start possible in academics for your children, this is the place to go. As a public school teacher, I was surprised to see that my daughter was performing above average first grade students in her Kindergarten year at Wayne Montessori.

My child has made great strides in only six months at the school! He just turned four and is already way above other children in other preschools in the area! The hard working and dedicated teachers and staff cannot be beat!! I can't wait to see what next year has in store for him!

This is a great school with a dedicated teaching staff. My 4 year old loves going to school and is learning so much more than I had thought was possible at her age. You do have to volunteer, but shouldn't you be willing to participate in your childs education. This school has given my child the self confidence to be successful in life.

I love this school. My daughter went here for two years and her academics have excelled past our expectations for her age. Her teachers are sweet, nice, kind, and caring for each child. Don't expect to get a full report everyday from the teacher about your child, thats what parent teacher conferences are for. Be prepared to get involved, the school relies on parent volunteers. I will be sending my other child when she is old enough to this school as well.

My children have gone to this school for quite some time now and they have retained much more knowledge then I thought was possible for their age levels. My son just turned 3 and can read, do math, and is learning geography now. I can't believe other schools in the areas don't compare to these levels of education. While other schools are teaching the abc's and 123's, which the kids get at home... my kids are exceling at math, and science... and working on the united states geography.... This is the best school I have ever had my kids in.....

I enjoyed the extracurricular activities but thought that the communication system was problematic. Phone calls were hard to get through and the teachers were a bit pushy. Overall, I considered my time there 'average'. There was no real administration to oversee, and I remember parents having to volunteer continuously just to get the jobs done. After our move I remember being much more satisifed with the year I spent at another Montessori school in Texas. Overall, Montessori education was great for me but WMS just didn't get me off to the greatest start.

My child was reading by age 4~~doing multiplication, addition and subtraction in kindergarten! No other school in Goldsboro can match that academic achievement! The teachers are wonderfuI've worked on fundraisers I'm proud to call my friends~~we share a strong dedication to Wayne Montessori School! It's a special place, just ask our alumni~~we have 25 years worth! I think parents can love a school, but the biggest test is does your child? My 6-year old loves going to school, loves it! She cannot wait to get there every day! She enjoys her classmate friends, her teachers, her works and her special activities. If you're a parent seeking a traditional montessori school, or someone interested in what montessori's all about, you'll feel right at home at Wayne Montessori School.
