i think the school is great i see that they are making change
I love my childs school! They keep me informed and have multiple fundrasiers & activities throughout the year. My son's teacher keeps me informed 'daily' in reagrds to my childs progress.
Vandalia Elementary is off to a grat start this year. Let's start with open house. I was simply amazed as I walked through the door with my rising 2nd grader. There were many parents there with their children. As I peeked around the corner I noticed the long line of parents anxiously waiting to join the PTA and other parents speaking with the ACEs director about afterschool oppurtunities for thier child. I was highly impressed. As I walked down the hallway, I listened as the enthusiastic teachers invited the parents in to be a vital part of the upcoming school year. The children seemed so excited. It seemed as if the vibe for this school year was very different inyears past. Everyone seemed to be on a 'new high'. I am every excited and can't wait to be a part of my child learning experience.
