Wonderful Christian school! Great teachers, great administrators, and great students! This school has a real "family" atmosphere.

This is a great school! I went here up until seventh grade, but I had to transfer because it was a bit expensive. But compared to other school in the disrict it is the best. Their curriculum is way above the normal. It will help your child to be a very successful person during their life.

Wonderful school, family atmosphere, college prep curriculum in a Christian atmosphere. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful school in our area.

Teachers are really involved, great feeling of family with the entire administration. Just enrolled our 2nd child there. Both kids love the school. Good use of technology, we know what our child did on a test before he even gets home. The school is constantly moving forward and growing.

I have been going to HCA for three years! I came from a public school that offered not much education unlike Harrells! I love the school! It has many activities to do! I am sooooo happy that I made the choice to go to Harrells instead of public school again! Thanks Harrells! :)

I have been a public school teacher for over 20 years. My children attended public schools through elementary school. I never thought that I would say that the public schools in my county did not provide an adequate education or a safe environment. At Harrells Christian rules are very clear and enforced, no matter who you are! Public schools today have rules, but the rules can't always be enforced. Many private schools lack the academic excellence, parental support and discipline that Harrells affords. Fortunately, my children have had the advantage of attending both public and private schools. They chose to attend Harrells Christian Academy and have had successful edcuational experiences.

I attended harrells christian academy for my entire school career k-12. I loved it very much and i know i would not be where i am today without it. The people there just care about the students so much it just creates a very safe enviroment. It is the best school in the area.

I have attended HCA my entire life. yes, there are aspects of school that from a student's view need to be improved, but most who attend HCA don't realize how great they have it. The faculty, though everchanging, is always willing to go above and beyond what it necessary to teach you the material and make sure you are comfortable applying it in class. I could go on and on about the pluses and minuses, but mainly I want you to understand that reviews submitted by students are going to be slanted, as was the two-star rating posted about HCA earlier.

In my opinion, HCA feels like a prison. Not all but most teachers, have a bad attitude. Most act like they hate their jobs. Students are given no freedom and are never given praise for good deeds. As a result, student morale is very low.

I am a student of harrells christian academy. It rocks! Parents, this school is great for your children. Who ever has given this school a 2 star rating, you have never actually been going to this school for 7 full years like I have and you know Im right. We have PE, Bible, Art, Sports, and much, much more activity to do hear at HCA! We have devotion and prayer every morning before We start our work. Great school!!!

I used to attend HCA, but as a whole the school is not ever a place I would send my child. The atmosphere is so stressful, that it makes it impossible to enjoy. Cretivity is squashed, and the rules are unbearable.

Harrells Christian Academy is an example of how a K-12 school should be. The school has a true family atmosphere. It is so nice to see seniors interacting with 1st and 2nd graders. The students and teachers really care about each other. Even though the academics are challenging, the success rate of students is high. I think this comes from the high expectations of the teaching staff and the involvement of the parents with the education process. As a parent of a child that plays three sports, I find the program to be great. The facilities and teams are always improving. We have great fan support. Being a christian school, HCA tries to encourage students to live the christian life by loving others not by judging them. It is a wonderful and safe place for kids. Come by and visit.

I'm a student at HCA. I think Harrells is a wonderful school. Although some think that private school is a way to get away from the problems and difficulties at public it is not. You have the same children that get into as much trouble. The children are under christian influence but, teens do not always do what they are told. So, in conclusion if you are looking for a better education than public school I say go to Harrells but, if you are looking for a better enviorment, ALL scools are alike in that matter!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
